Sun May 11, WELCOME TO CHRONICWOOD [Formerly Welcome To Busseywood], now takes place over 9hrs on the 2nd Sunday of each Month at the Bussey building/CLF Art Cafe The on-going monthly event themed, focusing on the very finest in film and animation. 2D to 3D Film, Computer Generated to Hand Drawn Animation.

 

Our third monthly event pointing it’s cinematic programming glock in the direction of Gangster Classics. Then to Now. A trio of full length epic masterpieces in the form of 1: Ridley Scotts riveting AMERICAN GANGSTER. Denzil Washington star has rarely been higher or brighter than in this Epic. Based on a true story American Gangster is a 70’s tale about Manhattans King Of Heroin and a detectives mission to bring him down. 2: Arguably the greatest Gangster Flick of all time. Francis Ford Coppola’s genius take on Mario Puzzos best selling Novel - The GODFATHER. Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, Robert Duval, James Caan and Diane Keaton, to name but a few actors at their peak in this amazing ensemble piece. Nuff Said. Closing with 3. SCARFACE.
