'visceral and powerfully compelling - a thrilling, dark and ferocious Macbeth'

'Henry Proffit cuts a paranoid figure as Macbeth: his unease is as much a driver of bloody deeds as his unfettered ambition.'

Flamenco Express

November 2017

November's cargo of flamenco talent included the British premier of enchanting international phenomenon Rocio Leal, and return of vocal virtuoso Pedro Sanz.
Plus 'sizzling soloist' La Joaquina, and guitar maestro Chris Clavo.

'La Joaquina, tiny, urgent and intense, explored a vast emotional vocabulary, and juxtaposed vulnerability and tenderness with violence and aggression … tempestuous beats ... sinewy arms snake angrily and her taut body is totally driven by her feelings. Wild and untameable...'

The Stage

'Two amazing guitar solos from Chris Clavo and Jesus Alvarez made string instruments sing with impossible precision.'

'This feisty company delivers the finest in flamenco, plus sizzling soloist La Joaquina.' Time Out
